So I am cycling in today and bang...... a grey Ford Orion isn't where I thought it should be and I was quite clearly not where she thought I should be. So I picked myself up. dusted down and carried on a sad and wiser man. Oh my knee and elbow and wrist hurt.

When I was 12, I rode my bike into the back of a parked motorbike. I knocked it over, and, despite the fact I was bleeding heavily from my arms and legs and eyes, the owner seemed more concerned about his motorbike.
