Well...

So It's been a couple of weeks and things pass so i feel I should let eee all know about them.

Where to start? Well I went to London to see the Stray Cats for their farewell concert at the Brixton Academy which was great. We all set off at about 16.30 from Norwich myself, Graeme from work, Marters and the lovely Howard sisters Donna & Tracey. The trip down was pretty un eventful really, Graeme and I realised pretty quickly that Tracey wasn't going to like too much on our I-pods and we settled for some Classic Judas Priest that got the girls making noise and some Stray cats to get us in the mood. Parking at Cockfosters and tubing to Brixton was a laugh....not but better than the journey home (more on that later) It always surprises me how old Brixton looks. We ate, we went into the venue, I spent money on stuff and we bought some beers waiting for the three cool cats to make their way onto the stage. this they did and proceeded to rock our little world for over 90 minutes. It was a pretty fair greatest hits set that did not leave much out that people wanted to hear. The encores included a couple of songs with the legendary Dave Edmunds including The Race Is On that I really had a tear in my eye for. The only downside is that Slim Jim Phantom, the drummer, fell off of the stage and broke his arm at the end so I really felt sorry for the people who could not see them in Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin... Maybe they'll come back for those dates.

On the way home we had to negotiate Brixton tube station being closed, getting the bus to Trafalgar Square (It's a Big Willy) driven by the most miserable bastard in the world and forgoing greasy spoon fair at Red Lodge because the exit to the M11 was closed (Grrrr). Still we got home (between 3.00 and 5.00 depending where people lived) and some of us even made it to work on time........

What came next dear listener is for another tale tomorrow (or Saturday)
